smoke

my 85 305 z28 smokes a little bit when i start it up. What can i do short of a rebuild to lessen this?

bump! cause i also have this issue, just a big white puff at startup if revved it will do it a little more then completely goes away

White is water or coolant. If there is no lose of your coolant and is only on startup, I would say there is just some condendstion.

every time though?? how much condensation can build... and my coolant levels are fine... ive read that it could possibly be the valve seals but not sure

Even when warm? Are you sure it isn't blue smoke? Blue would indicate oil burning and could be the seals.

no deff not blue and yah its 20 celcius out today still does it on startup.. has a very exhausty smell if that makes any sense
