Clutch change problems
Jus changed my pressure plate throwout bearing clutch disk flywheel pilot bearing in my 89 ta 305 tpi was all standard stuf no HD clutch or anything lke that well now that I got it all back together I can barely get it in gear and when I do and have my foot pressed all the way on the clutch the tires start spinng not as fast as when in gear but they spin steady this is however all on jackstands I haven't put it down yet cause I wanted to ask u guys before I pull the tranny back off or anything lke that. I know the pilot bearing got a little dinged up on instalation but not too bad and it could probably use a half a quart of fluid I also put a new clutch fork on could that have fell out of spot or something all help apprecated

Re: Clutch change problems
did you make sure you put the clutch disk facing the right way? it only goes one way, it should have said flywheel side on it..... just a thought....

Re: Clutch change problems
i had a problem when i changed my clutch and tranny.
the ball on the inside of the bell housing that the clutch fork sits on was trashed.
just something to look at.
Edit
yes there is a bleeder screw on the slave cylinder that connects to the bell housing.
