so i have a 89 iroc 5.7 i have had it for about 8 months and just recently i was driving for about an hour and at every stop i would make my car would die, but i was able to start it back up. i would only do it after like an hour of driving. i took it to my local mechanic and they didnt have an answer about what was wrong but they cleaned the throttle body and replaced the plugs and wires. it seemed to work for a bit but now instead of dieing it would catch itself. but now it seems to be dieing on me again, i cant seem to find out wats wrong.

 

have u tried cleaning the maf or replacing the iac or tps?
