86 Z28 Wont Start

My 1986 Z28 Camaro wont start. When the key is put in the ignition it puts on a high pitched buzzing sound, and the starter will crank only once if it cranks at all. The problem may be electrical it looks like my entire car was wired by a drunk man with electrical tape. Any ideas?

Fist things first. Take the battery out and get it charged at an auto parts store. Then see what happens and write back.

Welcome to the forums BTW.

I would check the battery cables then. Remember the ground is just as important as the power side. Make sure you have good clean connections at the battery and the ground wire where it attaches to the chassis is good and clean.
