Re: what kind of gas mileage are u guys gettin?

We already have a thread on this.
Anyway, With a carbureted 350, I got 26 highway. That was with 700R-4 and 3.08:1 gears, on 235/60R15s. That carb was not computer-controlled, either. Now I'm going LSx for even more. Hopefully 32 mpg with a 5.3L, or 30 mpg with a 6.0L

At 157,000 miles, my tired old soon to be departed from the engine bay 305 is getting about 20 city, 26 highway with only bolt on mods. When it get hot out the mileage drops off quite a bit.

Re: what kind of gas mileage are u guys gettin?

I'm pulling about 26 highway with a 350/700r4. I know I can do better than that though. City is unknown.

Naturally, atilla the fun makes my numbers seem unimpressive haha. His rear is longer, but that's still pretty good for a carb'ed 350. What size carb is that, atilla? and did you tune it yourself?
