Advice on installing shorty headers

Ok, so I found a pair of used shorty headers for cheap. My question is this: They are not "air" headers, so what do I do with the air tubes that go to each of the exhaust manifolds? Should I cut each individual tube or unplug the tube assembly and cap that big tube off? Anyone know? I want to keep air to the converters.

It doesn't matter you can go either way. Even if you don't cap those tubes off nothing bad happens. The air pump will still push air through them and out into the engine bay. Once the engine heats up the air will still divert to the cat. If you don't care about emissions just remove the entire air system and make changing spark plus simpler.
