Engine: 77' 350 bored 355 Holley carb
Transmission: Turbo 350
put in gear, accelerate pops shuts off

92 rs with 77 350 w/holley carb. put car in gear with foot on brake. push gas as its accelerating pops through carb and shuts off. timing? too advanced or back?

check with a timing gun to what its set at, sounds likes its too far back to me but its been a while

Could also be a bad plug wire, a wire not fully on a plug, firing order off, etc.

all wires and plugs new. order right. guessing timing. little fine tuning is needed
