vats wont let my car start!!! somebody help please!!

I had to get a new steering column for my 89 firebird but since the new one uses a different key, the car wont even crank because of vats. I can't find the 2 white wires to do the resistor bypass. does anyone know where they are or if there is any other way to bypass vats????

You can just take the key from the old column, along with the new key to any ACE hardware, and have them make new keys with the resistor valur from the OLD key, but cut the key to be shaped like the NEW key.

Or bypass: https://www.thirdgen.org/vats
