hi guys

as you can prob tell getting a little fed up of my ta at the mo

got her about 5 mouths ago knowing she needed work and was going to be a summer project. main problems bad wiring and the floor is gone.

any how been working on her all the wiring is done now.

last week did a trans fluid/filter change.
flushed the rad out
took of the pulley for the supercharger as it was buckled sorted it and put back together

and now she just wont start

has spark, fuel and air but will not catch

she tyring but just not good enough

please any ideas guys would be great

o and she a 3rd gen 5.7 tpi

 

any one???? reallt need help here guys

 

how did you confirm spark and fuel? Are you sure the fuel injectors are firing?

 

Could it be the VAT system?

Have you checked the easy stuff like volts at battery and volts at starter solenoid?

Smarter people then me will need a little more info to help. The year, induction, ect. would help a lot.

she a 89 gta 5.7 tpi with a vortex supercharger

tested the sparks with ignition bulbs
fuel with psi reader

 

Did it run before (in your posession)? I'd start by checking the timing and fuel pressure. Have you tried pulling codes from the computer? My bro had this problem with a supercharged 96 T/A, long story short, do a compression test. It'll save you alot of headaches

 

ya she ran when i got her its only since i did these jobs shes stopped working

just waiting for my friend to lend me a computer to test her

 

If you haven't already, test to make sure your injectors are firing. Easiest way is to crank the engine a few times, then pull one of the plugs and check to see if its wet with gas. psi at the rail only shows the fuel pump as ok

she works at lasted bloody thing

ended out to be wet plugs whipped out 5 that i could get to and they were covered in fuel dried them of put them back in and of she went
