Pushrod Length
New to posting on this forum so please bear with me. I'm building a motor and need to know what pushrod length I need for my combination. I have a GMPP 383 shortblock assembly, GMPP Fastburn heads, and the Hot Cam kit. Will be installing a miniram but I don't think that factors in for pushrods. Any help will be greatly appreciated. For all interested, it's going into my 1990 IROC-Z.
Re: Pushrod Length
For a factory roller cam the stock length is 7.20". You'll probably want to buy or borrow a pushord length checking tool and determine if that's the right length for your combination of parts, though.

Re: Pushrod Length
Thanks, Damon. I wasn't sure as I am working here with a different camshaft and rocker arm combo. I failed to mention that it is a roller block. I will get a pushrod length checker to make sure. Any ideas on which one to go with? Summit offers a variety of pushrod checkers. I just want to make sure that I get the right one. Thanks again for your help...
