Hard start, chug-chatter-stumble on hard accel under 3500ish
hard start, just replaced starter. sometimes backfires thru TBI when wont start after letting key go, white smoke smells like gas.
recently replaced alternator, starter, batter, ignition control module, ignition coil msd 8226, rebuilt tbi., spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, oxygen sensor
odd chatter/miss started after installing a tbi spacer. made few adjustments, seemed to get worse. I removed tbi spacer, same problem exists
adjusted tv cable, checked tps, reads .66v. this is a non adjustable tps, and has given me trouble free operation for last 4 years, it came with car/tbi
under hard acceleration, or acceleration under 3000-3500 car seems like its missing bad or trans/ converter not engaging. transmission rebuilt 30,000 miles ago, new torque converter at same time. plug wires are not arcing or shorting, pulled dist cap and there were deposits on the metal terminals in cap, scraped that off, no changes
if my tv bracket was tweaked a little bit could this cause all this drama? by tweaked I mean like 1-2mm difference

I have not adjusted or checked timing
timing has not been adjusted in 2 years, no settings were changed, never pulled distributor, It would not automatically change right?

Try putting the stock coil back on. See what happens. Couldn't hurt.

Remember, if you change something, and you've got a problem where you didn't before, something you did most likely caused it (Lol the story of my life with my engine swap!!)
It's possible that any one of the new parts you put in are bad. I'd start by putting in the original cap, coil and rotor..and ignition module if you've got it. If the problem goes away, you just narrowed down the result. Also, since you did put a new cap, coil and rotor in, it's possible you bumped the distributor so it may not be a bad idea to double check the timing.
