ok so my car is making a screaching noise i found out it is the smog pump . is there anyway that i can delete the smog pump off my motor

Sounds like your smog pump has frozen causing the belt to rub over a smog pulley that does not turn. I assume the V6 cars still have the same sort of serp belt setup - if so the smog pump can be deleted out of the system by simply changing belt length and rerouting the serp belt - your answers are here: https://www.thirdgen.org/serpentine

ok i will check it out .. the pullie is spinning bc i did take the belt off nd turn it by hand but its making funky noises when i turn it so i want to delete it

the only problem is my car is a 91 v6 nd the diagram given is set up different then the way my engine is , so i am a little confused
