Ok, so I recently acquired an 85 Z28 that the previous owner put an 89 350 in it. The car has the 700R4 trans. Previous owner changed the ecm and all that jazz, however the speedo did not work so I pulled the cluster. GUESS WHAT.... the jack*** yanked the speedo cable as it is nowhere to be seen. Can anyone tell me the correct routing for the cable and preferrably pictures showing where it connects to the transmission.
Second question. Did the previous owner change the speedo cluster as it has the little yelow VSS box behind the cluster. It is only an 85mph gauge however. Someone please help me get my speedometer working again.....
