Freeze plugs... help!

The front oil galley plugs are the issue... 1/2 was too small for the sides and too big for the bottom one... I'm focusing on the side one though. 9/16 was too small and 19/32 was too big. What the heck, what size freeze plugs do I need for the front oil galley plugs?

Not sure what the size is supposed to be. But waht do you mean too big? They are supposed to deform and take the shape of the hole when you hammer them in.

Did you clean up where the old ones had been staked in? Get the holes smooth and round or else they'll be hard to get in, and once they are in they'll be loose.

You can also tap them for screw in plugs. It's a lot more secure, and its important for these not to pop out. 1/4npt I think.
