Head Gasket Selection
i need help deciding what head gaskets to select. the engine is a 400 .040 over with aluminum heads, i am using the steam holes and my heads are drilled for them, so i was thinking that the Fel-pro 1044 would be fine. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FEL-1044/
if anyone else has any other suggestions please feel free to let me know.

Re: Head Gasket Selection
Dependent on other factors in your engine ( chamber shape ,deck height ,CR , etc ) 1014 would be preferable as it gives a better quench area ( thinner gasket )

Have you done a DCR calc on your build?
