Starts but doesnt stay running

91' z28 camaro starts up but wont stay running without feeding it gas, just started today. tried some sea foam which keeps it running but very sluggish just above stalling point so that when i use the breaks it still dies on me. i know its the fuel system but im wondering if theres a specific part that can cause this before i start dismantling stuff and i really dont have the money to just replace stuff one by one.. any suggestions would be awesome thanks guys

You can check the usual like fuel psi, leaks in the regulator diaphragm.
Throttle Position sensor
Dirty Idle Air Control Motor
Fouled spark plugs
Faulty EGR
Vacuum leaks

I'd do a check to see if your fuel pump is working. When you turn the key to on you should hear a buzzing near the rear of the car. thats the fuel pump getting the system up to pressure if you don't hear that your pump may be bad.

You can check fuel pressure driver side fuel rail should have a schraeder valve (like a tire stem) on it - a $10 fuel guage will go right on it. I'd throw another $10 at a new fuel filter as well - never hurts to have a new fuel filter. Then, as mentioned, TPS, IAC, EGR, vacuum leaks, plugs, etc.
