I think one if them is a coolant temp sender to the coolant gauge. What is the other sensor then?

A is the temp gauge sending unit.
B has to do with the HVAC... when the head temp reaches some kind of "normal" range, the blower is kept running by it at a very low speed, even when the dash switch is off.

Thanks a lot. That explains why I can feel blower sometimes even when the switch is off.
On another note, I'm trying to sell these 416 heads. Any idea what they are worth? or should I take them to the junk yard?

Don't junk them - they are good heads if ported/polished - keep them or sell them.
BTW - heads are the same either side, so they can be flopped from left to right. Pic A is a coolant temp sender as mentioned, so it must have come off driver side. But if you put that head on pass side, in a 3rd gen it would be the fan switch location.

I haven't had a car with the "B" switch, but I thought it had something to do with the cowl inlet on TA's.
