1 problem or multiple issues? please help

First off. The car is an 86 trans am with a 305, tune port injection, with an automatic.

When i got the car it barely ran at all. I replaced alternator, belts, plug and wires. the car started up easily after that but would pop alot out of the intake. I checked the fuel pressure and it was a little low so i replaced the fuel pump, strainer, and fuel filter. Car still pops really bad.

NOW: if i turn the distributor until it is WAY before TDC (cant even see the timing mark anymore while looking at the pointer) then the car starts up and does not pop at all BUT when it is warm it is a little harder to start (starter seems to strain). It also has a pretty bad miss at idle (cant really notice it while driving) once it warms up. The car is also running rich.
I checked my injectors and they all spec out at 18 ohms except 2 which are at 3 ohms. I confirmed that those two are firing but the 3 ohms does concern me.

Would the injectors being at 3 ohms mean that they are shot even though they are firing?
Any ideas why the car pops out of the intake when at base timing (set base with the connector disconnected) but seems to run pretty good with the timing WAY out from where it should be?
Any ideas why the car runs ok (still has slight miss) when its cold but runs kinda crappy (major miss) when its warm?

injector can be an issue...it kinda almost osunds to me like leaking head gaskets maybe? but the slight miss is characteristic of a bad injector...mine had 3 bad injectors as well as bad tps.cts, and fuel pressure regulator...hope this is useful (not a diognoses on your car though just a thought with the head gasket)

I thought the same but coolant and oil are both good and no overheating at all.

Will 4.6 injectors fit my tpi setup? I was going to hit the junkyard to look for some replacements.

Update*

Replaced my injectors with lt1 injectors and the throttle response is so much better. But the timing still has to be set WAY beyond 6 degrees before to dead center. It's more like 40 degrees btdc. It also still has a misfire that only shows up when it's warm. Any ideas?
