Starter Connections help
I'm in the middle of an engine swap and I forgot how to wire the starter up.
I have a 84 Trans AM with a carbed 305 (350 carbed now). I'm running a stock starter motor.
Sine this is a carbed non CC application a lot of the connectors on the original harness are not used and I figured I would be able to remember the few that aren't. So I got lazy and did not label anything.
There are several posts on both the starter and solenoid and I forgot what wires go where. Can someone please help?

Re: Starter Connections help
There's only 2 posts. One big one on the motor that takes the wires with big ring terminals, and one small one on the solenoid that takes the wires with small ring terminals.

Re: Starter Connections help
All the wires attach to the larger terminal, except one - the purple wire, it attaches to the smaller terminal.

Thanks a lot guys! It was just as you described. Got it connected and working. Now If only I could fix my tranny leak.
