Books how to rebounds rebuild 350s
Well I want to rebuild a 350, but I have never done it before. So I am looking for a book on how to do it. Somthing like a hanyes or a chiltons any help is appreicated

My advice would be to get the block remachined and the cam bearings replaced. If you want do the rest on you own, go from there. I'll try to find you a couple of titles 0f books I've used before.

Haynes and Chilton usually cover the rebuild process. They cover them from an OEM spec though. Some machine shops will do assembly for you at an extra cost also.
If you're wanting to do it yourself there are a few tools that I consider a must. Torque Wrench, Engine Stand (preferably one that you can rotate the block on easily), ring grinder, piston install tool, crankshaft socket tool (to turn it over easily to install rods), balancer installer, and a hoist to get the old motor out and the new one in. I can lift a sbc out of a town car trunk unassembled by myself but trying to move/carry an assembled one is another story.
Also a clean room is perfered. I built my current motor in my bedroom at my parents house since 1/2 of the room was bare cement floor.
