Im about ready to pull my hair out i have a 1991 camaro that i put a built 350 in its bored .40 over about 10.5 compression .560 lift and about .250 duration 2.02 fullie heads accell dual point distributor its a stock one off a 69 corvette its been sitting around awhile new wires msd coil and spark plugs 700 holley when ever i start her she will pop right off some times other times she just cranks and cranks and cranks the spark plugs are carbonized up from to much fuel? but when she does pop right off she wont stay running even for a minute before she falls on her face she has spark if you ground it to some thin but if you use the spark arrest-or it has nothing i have been told replace the condenser and mabey the points im not sure though also have been told that the valves could be adjusted to tight there mechnicals making one stay open to long? shoots alot of gas and air back out of the carb i dont know whats wrong

 

Many variables to account for when getting a fresh build running... Such as, valve lash, carb tune (in the ball park), and timing.

 

the timeing is in the ball park i have played with that a lot i think the carb and valve lash are in the ball park but you would think it would atleast stay running but she just falls on her face right away
