I just recently picked up an 88' 2.8 V6, all it needed was a fuel tank, after being a major pain in the *** we got it installed, drove it home, which let me say she ran pretty good considering the circumstance. First thing we replaced was the wires and plugs and then she ran like crap, the previous plugs were rusted and 1 was even broken, so we replaced the cap and rotor, did the timing and even replaced the tps sensor, the car still runs like garbage, its FI and always dies unless I am holding the gas down, she has a really REALLY rough idle and it only runs good when the I believe the air mass is unplugged ( the plug you unplug when setting up the timing) and when you hit the gas, its shoots up past red line and SLOWLY comes back down, I am running out of ideas, the car was not well taken care of, but I am trying to give her a second chance any help will be great
