87 iroc 350 tpi a mass air flow problem or??? Help
I have a 87 iroc with a350 tpi that came out of a vette with 50k on it now when the mass air flow is plugged in the car runs like total crap! When it's unplugged the car runs fine but can't put the gas pedal to the floor or the car will die and to restart it have to connect avd disconnect the mass air flow sensor to get it running then it's fine, is this a mass air floe issue or possible other problem??? Thanks for any help in advance!

Not sure I'll have to take alook to double check, do you think it's the mass air doing this problem or something else?

I was recently trying to wire a new plug in mine (old one wore down on belt) and when I had finished and plugged it in it wouldnt start and the fuelpump would be weak. After that I put in a 40 amp fuse in the wire by the coolant overflow and the car would start but it would run bad and then die and pop the fuse. In the end I took it up to Oreillys and the guy told me I wired it wrong. After about 10 minutes he rewired it for me and I was on my way happy as can be.
I agree with turbo that it is in fact a problem with the MAF.
