So the other day I was at work.. Just got out. Walking to my car, my horn just starts going at a constant.. I don't have an alarm on the car yet.. I just got it less than 2 weeks ago.
So I opened the hood and couldn't figure anything out.. This is my first car I don't know how to work on engines yet. I tried the horn, pounded it, nothing. I turned the steering wheel, and it stopped.
Following this freak occurrence, my radio stopped working, my interior lights, trunk button and power door locks.
I replaced the accessory fuse and all seemed well. I checked to see if the horn worked.. And it blew the brand new fuse.
Is there a short in the horn wires? I have no idea how to get to it or how to check.

 

Let me guess, aftermarket steering wheel?? If so, poull the horn **** and then use tape or windshield adhesive to isolate the hub bolts from the horn contacts.

 

It is an aftermarket steering wheel. I want to eventually put the on. Idk why the guy kept it in the trunk..
