The car was working fine, I stopped and went inside somewhere and it would not start up and keep running any more. It will crank over and start and die imedietly. I have changed the Fuel filter, and Fuel Pump.I get 42 PSi on the fuel rail. I have bypassed the VATS system in the past. I can spray fuel into the intake and the car will run, as soon as i stop spraying the fuel, it dies. I have also replaced most of the fuel injectors in the past. If you have any ideas about what could be happening please let me know.

is it throwing any codes? whats the SES light doing when you turn the ignition on before you start it?

 

I have swapped out the maf already but i can try again. I will have to try cleaning the iac. The SES light comes on when i turn the key tot he On position but then goes off. I have had problems with the VATS in the past and had to bypass the system with resistors. If you have any other ideas keep them coming. i need all the help i can get on this car.

 

You said you have replaced some injectors but not all? Check the injectors and see if you have any bad ones. I had a similar issues and it was bad injectors.

 

this is what solved my problem. Thank you. I checked the injectors today and the only three that i did not replace 6 months ago where the ones that went bad. After replacing them the car will start and run smooth. thanks again.
