Help car wont run

Ok...
1990 Camaro RS 3.1L V6
It wont stay running it cranks starts and then either idles horrible for a minute then shuts off or it just starts and instantly turns off. Every once in a while it starts and runs until i turn it off and drives up and down the driveway just fine.
Things i have replaced... getting code 33 even after switching parts

-Throttle sensor
-Idle control
-valve cover gaskets
-ignition module
-fuel filter
-plenum gaskets
-temp sensor
-serpintine belt
-MAP sensor
-a few vaccum lines
-battery
-cleaned the fuel injectors

The fuel pump seems to be working i took the filter off and it shoots out fuel but not sure if its constant enough to keep it running. if i put starter fluid in the intake it runs longer before it idles rough and shuts off.

if anyone can help that would be nice. Its my Girlfriends car and i would like to get it running again.

Re: Help car wont run

get a fuel pressure gauge and check the fuel pressure. also, measure the resistance of the fuel injectors to see if you have a shorted injector.

The hurricane wasn't too bad lol I checked fuel pressure its at a good 40 psi bought a fuel pressure regulator and of course its held in by 6 saftey torx and the smallest ones possible.upon tightening them they almost all strip no one has them in their store and the dealer wants 30 bucks per screw lmao.

I don't see the reason why you would have to put tamper resistant screws back in. If you can't find any regular screw, let me know. I'm sure I can get some for you. I'll pull one tonight and check the size and thread pitch. I have the engine on a stand anyways.

Re: Help car wont run

I checked everywhere no one had the screws I rigged them back in..lol thanks tho. After I got the regulator in it starts more often but still misfired so I changed plugs and wires (plugs were grossly black) and still have the same damn problem.

Re: Help car wont run

Have you ohmed across your injectors yet to make sure one or more hasn't gone bad?

Re: Help car wont run

I do that by removing the connector and using a multi meter correct?

Re: Help car wont run

I believe that's how it's done yes. Not sure of the required reading though because I'm running a Carb here so that's not something I need to check. Check the TPI forums or do a search for "ohm injector" and that should come up with something for you.
