long long way

hi im in the UK, and i live in milton keynes and I'm taking a flight to Aberdeen, witch is over 600miles away. I'm picking up a 1990 Camaro it the 5.0 its a 10 hour drive back. i would love to know how many miles you can get to a tank. would just like to say car is all stock.
in the uk its £6.8 per gallon, witch just over $10 in us money.

Re: long long way

50 quid just about fills my tank from just above the red I was most surprised by how small it is,i've had my 87 iroc 5.0 for about 3 weeks now and i've got to say it seems quite good on fuel possibly hitting low 20's I'll know more after tommorow as I'm heading to santa pod for the flames and thunder from notts.
good luck with the scottish drive and enjoy your purchase

The size of a gallon is considerably larger in Her Majesty's kingdom than it is in the benighted states.

£1.32 a litre x 56.775 = £74.95 per tank
$120.909 per tank at todays exchange rate

Re: long long way

Aye, them British fuel prices'll make ye shy away from guzzly cars...lol.
They don't know how cheap their fuel is here in USA. Appreciate it while it lasts...it's heading that way too. Although it will never get to the same price as UK...it's kinda funny watching people whining on the news about it.
Good luck with the journey home. You're gonna love the drive through the motherland in your 3rd gen.
All the best.
