Engine: L98 with TBI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73...
could a 85 Corvette starter work on a 92 Camaro
Needing to know if you have personal experience with this. I checked bat Oriellys yesterday and they have different part numbers, however I've heard that if they have the same flywheel they might work, which the both have the same flexplate tfor the 700r4. Thank you

they look to be the same. If you goto rockauto.com and do the lookup on both engines for example it shows acdelco p/n 3361880 for both applications. later years l98 on the vettes use a a light weight starter.
