We have all read bad and badder stuff I'm eBay about procomp but there's a guy on eBay Engine Works from Cali says it isnt procomp stuff were u can get a set around 700 for some rectangle 315 cc heads assembled had anyone ever hears of these heads or used them I bought a pair to check them out and flow test them think they're be worth it or not

Seeing you already have them ,WHY don't you tell us if they are any good or not?
Quality of casting / machining / etc.

The fact the seller is saying Procomp heads are as good as Dart and AFR heads has me worried

Plenty of questions across many forums but little info.
Most say they are just Procomp heads re-badged

Ya I searched it seems to be all questions whenever I called him he said he's no shape or form procomp and his a better and top notch do after I get them I'll take them down to my buddies machine shop he's got a pair of procomps there we are gonna compare them to then I'll run them and see how they are i got a feeling it'll be like procomp earlier works great or completely shitty I did it with a set of rpm Edel and a set of bow tie alumunin heads from there performance catalog looks like the same castings we couldn't find any differences in them

A simple google search can find more bad things about procomp parts than good things. Procomp is an Australian brand of Chinese parts. I'd rather spend a few extra bucks on good brand name stuff.

Are they inexpensive? Yes.
Are they worth the price for someone on a budget? Usually.
Are they good quality parts? No.
Will the parts fail in a high performance situation? Probably.

I'm not talking just about the heads but all Procomp products.

And that is a insult to Australians because the only connection is the company is registered in Australia.
Product is made and exported direct from China

Procomp is playing on the fact Australia has a excellent reputation in hi -end aftermarket perf parts as witnessed by such as Yella Terra rockers / DBA brake rotors /Rollmaster timing sets/ et al.

Bringing this thread back from the dead..update.. I also bought a set, I believe from this same seller---I phone 3-4 times just trying to get some information on the heads brand, any requirements different from stock etc. Seller is very tight-lipped about what these are, just says" there my casting" so I asked if he casts them there? he said "no, I get them raw and put my seats and guides in." By this call it's probably 3rd time, and I'd say both of us were getting annoyed. Anyway contacted ProComp, sent some pictures, they said not ours and don't resemble ours. So last conversation I had with the seller he was in the mountains and was conveniently losing reception..lol. So just wondering if the orginal OP had any luck with these heads? Any opinions good or bad. I am just going to do a clean-up in the chamber and try them out..
