Engine build in uk help !

Hi I am trying to finish an engine build that i bought part finished.

It is as follows -
5.7 block no GM3870010 (010 020) 2 piece rear main seal
Edlebrock Performer 6089 RPM alloy heads

It is just a block with heads and an inlet manifold on.

I need help with the following -

No waterpump -
Do i need short or long? Does it matter?

Bottom pulley and damper
Noting there - how do I know which type to get?
Is there year breaks/sizes????

Alternator -
I want a modern small unit to keep the bay clean.
Are there any that fit and if so what brackets do I need?
i have none !

Power Steering Pump -
Are they all the same?
Again nothing at the moment so I need brackets as well.

I hope you guys can recomend some choices as I need to order asap to send to UK so i dont want to make any mistakes !

You said it all there.
You need to decide what front drive system you are going to use because everything has to match up.
The distance from the block varies and that determines what pump and pulleys you need.
Balancers are all the same ( exp 400) so whatever size fits best 8" / 7"

Could try to find genuine 3rd Gen brackets , have choice of V belt or serpentine belt
or just run basic old skool setup ( prob cheaper ) using aftermarket brackets
Have a look at some local Hot Rods

I want to run a serpentine belt with no a/c
Also i want it all in black ! No chrome !!!
So it looks more like a modern factory look.
I also need to get alternator, power steering pump and water pump as well !
Ive looked at Summit and Jegs and cant seem to find what I want.
Are there any other retailers over there that send to the uk???

So start searching for a late 3rd Gen being parted out locally; get the drive brackets and pullies ,paint them,
then just buy the required parts to suit

Look around
Plenty of 3rd Gen specialists in UK

You'll want an accessory kit off of a 350 from 85-88. However, some of them had reverse rotation water pumps. Your best bet, is to buy the kit from summit without AC. However, I'd recommend that you contact Robin at Auto Pontiac in London.
