1991 Z28 No reverse lights

Transmission: Manual

1991 Z28 No reverse lights

Bulbs ok, sockets don't have current, tail lights work, turn and hazard work.
Is there a switch on the outside of the gear box I can check on? Need some direction. Thanks!

Is it a manual trans? If so, the switch is on the trans. If it's an auto, the switch is on the shifter. The wire to the lights from the switch is light green. The power into the switch for the B/U lights is dark blue. Check the DIR B/U fuse in the underdash fuse panel.

Edit: Just reread your post. You have turn signals so it wouldn't be the fuse. Almost has to be the switch or wiring. Generally the switch fails.

Yeah, the fuse is ok, sorry forgot to mention it. I'll check the switch, hopefully I'll be able to find it. It is a manual, and the darn thing is so close to the ground, I'll have to put it on jacks. Thanks for the info.

switch is on the driver side, located about halfway down the trans.

Is there any kind of adjustment or is it simply wiring and a switch? I'm having an issue with my reverse lights as well. Seems I have to move the stick around to get the lights to come on. I have the manual transmission.
