Please help! Temps sensor problem!
Okay, so here is my problem. I bought a 91 camaro rs 305 throttle body injection. I would not start due to no fuel pressure, so I replaced fuel pump, lines, and filter. Now I am getting 11psi at the throttle body.
It still would not start. No injector pulse. I know the injectors work, I bought new ones when I bought the car. Its actually a whole new throttle body, with a pressure regulator. SO I know that all good.
Here is the crazy part. I replaced my coolant temp sensor and the car started right up! Idled a little rough, but it hadn't been driven in a year, and it did smooth off after about 7 minutes. So I took it for a short drive. Everything seemed fine except the temp was a little high. I parked the car, turned it off, then tried to start it again, and no dice. I would turn over, but not fire. I checked spark and its good. The injectors weren't pulsing.
I checked the temp sensor again and it had fouled. I checked the thermostat and sure enough, it was bad, stuck shut. Replaced that and got another coolant temp sensor and it started right up again, then did the exact same thing. When I turned it off, it wouldn't restart! I checked all fuses, and the wires. they all look good. I am banging my head against a wall. I don't get injector pulse.
I am really confused. Please help. Any suggestions.

Actually its not. I replaced that with a stock replacement. And since the car does actually start up some of the time makes me think that its not the ECM. I have also replaced the ICM.

This turned out to be the VATS. I installed a resistor under the dash and it started up perfectly!
