White Smoke coming from Tailpipe
White Smoke coming from Tailpipe
OK so guys back for round two. I got the timing done, but now I have white smoke leaving the exhaust pipes. Now I live in Pennsylvania and I know it is winter so I understand that white smoke comes out when its first starting a motor in the cold but the smoke never left and I drove over 30 mins. Then when I went back to my house... once again, white smoke. It is thicker than the "cold start smoke" but not a huge plum of smoke. It looks just like the cold start smoke, just thicker and constant. ANY IDEAS WHAT IT COULD BE??

Coolant in the exhaust? Possibly from head gasket leaks? Any of the spark plugs look wet?
Re: White Smoke coming from Tailpipe
Like Orr said, take a look at the plugs (smell them too.) Is the oil clean or milky? If the smoke isn't billowing, and you aren't losing coolant I wouldn't sweat it.
