Trying to get 500hp. With 350 HO

My first post so hopefully I do it right.

I am trying to get around 500 hp out of a 350 HO.
I was thinking about going with the edelbrock etec 200 cc vortec style heads.
My uncle has a mighty demon 850 is that to much?
I also have an edelbrock performer vortec style intake.
To get up to or around the 500HP mark what would I need?
Was wondering if anyone has used or tried out any cams with that head.
Looking to try and get the max lift I can with 1.6rr.
The max lift for the heads are .575.
Would I need new engine internals or could I run the 350HO internals up to the HP.
To get up to or around the 500HP mark what would I need?
It is not a daily driver and will mostly be a show car.
I have an LT4 hot cam but I want something more.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

KEEP IN mind this is my first time doing anything with top end of engine so bear with me.

You're not going to hit 500 without some really radical drivability issues and a LOT of work done to the motor.. probably not what you'de enjoy driving on the street. I would say 400-430 @ flywheel is a more reasonable goal assuming you match everything properly. Also need to know what compression you're currently at, as well as chamber size on your heads.

64cc chambers
as for compression I am willing to change that by buying pistons. The car craft article got 400ish hp I believe with the stock vortecs and LT4 hot cam so I was wondering what else could really be had from the 350 HO and was up for suggestions.
another thing anyone used any ISKY cams....?

Don't ever pay attention to magazine numbers.. magazines are there to sell stuff to you, the consumer.. and they're hardly ever accurate, with only a few exceptions.

Dont forget if your motor is still computer controlled that those modifications will require some tuning as well.

The car is computer run as of right now but I am going carbed.
SO in the future I will have a lot of top end components to sell if anyone want them.

500 is doable, costly but doable. I'd keep it EFI for driveability.
