what are these threaded holes on my intake manifold?

ever since i've had my car i've noticed these two small holes on the front half of my intake manifold, they're threaded i think. is it for some aftermarket part? should something be plugging them?

I am sure those are for a temp sensor or the port to the heater core. Both will be threaded and should be capped if not in use.

go to local parts store and they will sell plugs. just tell them what for and they will steer you in right direction. pepboys, NAPA, advanced auto, O Rileys,

I believe they are 3/8 pipe thread. You can get in either a normal plug with a hex head or with a recessed allen head.

If you are talking about the 2 large holes into the water jacket that everyone above thinks you are talking about
then it will become obvious to you what to do as soon as you add coolant

I assume you are talking about the 2 small bolt holes on pass side?
Support bracket for fuel rails goes there.Holes are blind and can be left empty
