I bought myself a shop repair manual for my 1990 camaro and I think I have my problem narrowed down to the key pass decoder module or circuit 229 to the ecm but I want to be sure That's the problem before I tear my whole dash apart.
The question I have is concerning how it died and the fact that I have no spark but my manual only mentions That it won't pulse the injectors. the other thing is that when it died on me it hesitated before killing completely.
Has anyone ever had this problem or know anything about it?

 

if its a vats issue it won't effect spark, check to see if you have injector pulse it might be a ignition coil module.

take it to the auto parts store.

 

That did it. The codes must have been stored from a previous time. Thanks for the tip!
