Car stalled out twice

Car stalled out twice
My car stalled out twice but is good now. This was a couple hours ago and I was driving about thirty an it just stalled. I know my emissions are very high and it didn't buckle or anything it just stalled out. I wonder what it is. Engine an transition seem to work well. Please help

Something I noticed earlier was that when I was driving going about 40 in my 89 firebird was that when I stepped off the gases that the engine felt like I was giving it gas and it didnt slow down it kind of hung around the rpm I was driving at like the exhaust backed up a gave me gas or something weird

Perhaps, tech/ general engine and not just the 1st thing you see. look around and learn to use the site a lil bit...
