If you had $2500 in my spot..
What would you do? I ask this because I honestly am not sure what to do at this point. Things to consider:
- I have a fully built 355 in the car right now. Everything is fairly modified, and it's ALL brand new. I actually haven't even driven the car with it yet because I've been building on it so long over the past 2 years. It will be done when I get back next weekend most likely (I'm leaving for Mexico in about 5 hours).
- I have a fresh 40 over block in the garage just sitting.. I've got enough to make a stroker out of it now, but I'm not entirely sure it'd be worth the cost of doing that. My current block is a 010, whereas this is a 880 roller block (intentionally did this for roller provisions). Not sure if this is worth the investment; then again I could sell the 355 in a few months and cover the cost of the stroker completely. I got a great deal on the block fromm a friend, so it would all even out.
- I have a full suspension, so I've got this covered.
- Interior needs front seats redone, or just replaced. The rest of it is just fine.
- Paintjob is happening in about a month, so this is also taken care of.
What I'm thinking as potential possibilities...
- new heads from Chad Speire and sending my Airgap RPM for a port match on them. They're about $1600 and port matching is $100.
- sell the 350 block and buy a dart aftermarket block and build a 406 out of it instead.
- save my pennies and go to a bigblock.. I'm not sure about this though. My goals are 10's at the most in the quarter. I'd be happy with low 11's honestly, and starting "all over" isn't exactly on my priority list.. and I don't want to do an LS1 swap; I've had one already.
- could get a good rearend for the car.. not a MUST have right now, though.. not yet, anyways.
- finding another T56 and completing the swap. I HAD one and sold it. Running a TH350 at the moment with a 2500 stall converter. Could also use some of that cash to buy a better converter.
It's not often I come across this kind of cash flow at once because I'm finishing school at the moment. What would you do with that kind of money?

I'm REALLY thinking this myself, but I don't think 2500 will cover both of those. T56 used goes for 1200 bucks, and that's usually not including the flywheel ($300), the clutch ($600), crossmember ($150), and the few odds and ends for conversion since I still have a mechanical speedometer.
FWIW: I have Dart Iron Eagle's at the moment if that doesn't clarify justification on the heads. I COULD always spend the cash to get them ported also, granted they're iron heads.. not that it really makes a difference to me what they're made out of besides the weight savings.

I'm also open to other suggestions, but I honestly can't think of much else.
