1st up
Hp costs ; how much $$$ you have to spend??
In any case to get that sort of Hp reliably
( as in the motor not blowing up 1st time you drive it because you used el cheapo parts because your budget wasn't as big as your wet dreams)
you would start with a much bigger engine

Re: 350 motor build qustions
Yes
but it will cost more $$ than using a larger engine because the smaller engine has to work alot harder and needs more expensive HD parts for it to hang together at that Hp level
The old saying ; no substitute for CUBIC inches
Because you need to buy all new internals for the engine you would make your 350 into at least a 383 ( no cost difference)
That 454 I linked is a small block same as your 350

Re: 350 motor build qustions
Doesn't matter if they are for 350 or 383
Same bearings /cam /heads/rods /etc
A SBC crankshaft of a certain quality is a SBC crankshaft ,
a set of pistons is a set of pistons.
Yes you can get 700Hp from a 350 but that would be a race only engine that idles @1500 ,has to rev to 7500 and have no fuel economy ; not what you install in a street car
