can yall help me please

23° HSR on 113 cast alm heads, stock port heads, 1205 intake, 1205 gasket. It runs idle up high that cut off. The intake hits the bottom and don't touch th heads as if it was a 20° intake. So I use RTV silicone on the china walls so it can touch the heads. This is what I did. Rubber gaskets on wall and felpro 9617 intake gasket, RTV on wall with 9617, cork and 2 1205 gaskets, RTV and 1 1205 gaskets. Its a 1987 TPI LB9. What can it be all hoses vac lines ben checked I will post vid. This 3rd gen is costing more than I want I'm bout to sell it it

Check your intake part number against the holley recommended part number. You may find a discrepancy there...

What I mean is to check your intake to make sure you didn't get the vortec intake, or the older intake by mistake. The heads are different and you will have installation problems.

Re: can yall help me please

I got the HSR from a member on here he said its not, he had them on some dart heads. But it lines up with the head ports from looking at top with the plenum off. This the bad part of getting used parts the engine is not O.E. it was rebuilt by PO so it might been redecked. Can that cause that prob. It would open the angle of the heads right. If so I will need a new block and I will just go with a 350. My car won't be done this year no 3rdgen fest for me unles I can get it running right. Could it be a bad maf I have a new IAC
