Heads for my build

I'm not sure which heads would flow better, a set of Vortecs or fuelies (2.02/1.60 I believe). Will just be a 355 10:1 compression probably, I'm still in the planning stage.

Re: Heads for my build

For the 79 trillionth time, virgin Vortecs put ported fuelies to shame. All you really need to know is that Vortecs need a good bit extra exhaust duration and lift.

Re: Heads for my build

As atilla said, Vortec's will kick the fuelie heads *** any day of the week. They are weal on the exhaust side, I went with a cam with 229 degrees of duration on the exhaust(vs 224 on the intake) on my 383. 1.6 rockers on both, next time around im going to try a 1.65 rocker on the exhaust side to see if I make any gains.
