I was just wondering any certain turbos that anyone knew about for a decent price. and I've heard a lot of people putting truck turbos on their cars. Just shoot some opinions of any experiences or anything with turbos.

Im not an expert on turbos by any means, but I dont think what the turbo came off of matters.
What you look for is the size of the turbo and how much boost it will give you. Big turbo = lots of boost, but it will take forever to spool it up and reach its power. Too small and you wont have enough boost, and you can risk over spinning it.

You're funny. VTEC=We can't build what little hp we have until 5k. I know I'd put red stripes down the side of your Firebird.

lol im not a honda fan im just joking. They sell a TT kit on ebay for pretty cheap I was looking towards it but i dont think so. You might just need a 4 bolt main block with forged pistons
Re: I'm gonna turbo my 355. Opinions?
It's a LOT of work unless you buy a kit made specifically for your car. Bolting on a centrifugal blower is child's play compared to stuffing a turbo or two under the hood.
Think through whether you have the skill to do it yourself or the bucks to pay someone else to do it before you jump in.

read read and read some more. Maximum Boost by corky bell or turbocharger handbook by jeff hartman I think... both good reads on how to do turbo systems.
Its alot of work and time and money to do it correctly.
