Re: Yo Guys !
Starting out with: "Yo Guys" makes you seem about 16 years old. Not a good start.
Then you declare you want it to tun like a beast, without telling us what you expect, or your budget, or anything about the car's current equipment and performance / failings. You also don't specify if you want to learn the wrenching, or if you just want to write big checks.
Even if you have the budget to turn it into a 1000 HP race car, noone wants to help a 16-year-old get there. We want to see you master 200 HP without wrecking the car, then move toward 300 HP.

Re: Yo Guys !
'83 Z28 from uncle huh, well I'll give it a shot and a bunch of assumptions and leave you to pick and choose what you want.
1. you can try to beef up the 305 or you can get a 350 engine for more pwr, Personally I'd keep it stock.
2. If its automatic I'd add a shift kit for better shifts, if its manual then happy clutching.
3. If its carbureted or fuel injection you can get a newer edelbrock carb or bigger fuel injectors.
4. Get a Flowmaster Exhaust.

Re: Yo Guys !
Dude, it doesn't make sense to talk down to the people who you are asking for help..............just saying.
If you want advice, you'd get a lot better results by posting:
Details of engine currently in car (V6/V8, carb/FI)
Transmission
Rear Axle
Then, give an idea of what you want to do with the car.

Re: Yo Guys !
Here's some information regarding your car.= https://www.thirdgen.org/1983-chevy-camaro Scroll down to the drivetrain list and decide which Z-28 you have and then let us know.
Add what type of trans you have because one of the choices list both.
There's only "3" Z-28s to choose from so this should not be difficult.
Once we have that info. it gives us something to build on.

Re: Yo Guys !
I vaguely remember some one saying that the crossfire injection system was problematic and that explains why they only made it for a short time. If you could get some photos of the car including the engine that would be best. Depending on the cars condition you may be looking at a parts car.Personally I would not own a CFI car because there so far off from the standard design/intake.I prefer the traditional
design if for no other reason than looks.
