sound like the spark plugs are bad?
alright so heres the symptoms:
1. takes 2 cranks to start sometimes
2. loss of power
3. motor speed surge when i let off the throttle
4. when i get into it (wot or a little less) it stumbles and chokes up until i let off
5. high idle every once in a while when i restart it
sooo? what do you guys think? plugs?

I would check the plugs (or at least a few) to see how they look. My car needs new valve seals (dont they all lol) but it doesnt really hurt much, if it sits for a while (hr or more) itll take slightly longer to start up, but after that its fine. Even then if i shut it off and restart it starts instantly.
Id start with that and the easy things. Clean and oil your filters. DO NOT OVER-OIL THEM. thats how your iacv gets gunked up. Clean your maf. Clean your IAC valve. While your at it, clean your throttle body and wipe both sides of the blades down with a rag and cleaner (I like seafoam). Since its cheap and easy, change fuel filter. Check your TPS. Ohm fuel injectors. Check your CTS. Loan a vacc gauge and see how much vac your pulling. Even tho the hoses are all new you could still have a leak, and this will definetly rule vacc leaks out of the equation.
Afterwords, if the problem persists, check fuel pressure and maybe even timing if you think that could be the issue.
