Engine: 305 tbi

Transmission: automatic

what does this plug into?

91 rs 305tbi. Recently had my engine replaced by a friend neither he nor I could figure out where this plug goes. it looks like the other end of the wire goes to the radiator. Any help is appreciated. Its probably something simple.
