Fuel leak!
sorry for the upside down pic.
#1 is the pipe to the plastic valve by the rear tire. Fill the tank, and after 70 mi of hard driving I pull into the parking lot at the car show and gas starts pouring out said valve. Shut the car off and release the gas cap and the leak stops. Remove the o-ring around the gas cap (prevent pressure from building in the tank) and drive the 70 mi home uneventfully.
At home the next day pull off the valve and more than a gal of gas comes out.
How is it that gas is coming out a vent pipe that ends at the top of the tank? And why did it not start pouring until I got to the parking lot? And how did it store up a gallon of gas that I drained the next day?!
