Re: how do i bypass vats
Hi i have a 92 camaro rs 305tbi auto Trans .. I too have a question on what to do when you have done the bypass trick with the correct resistance. My has has been running on the bypass for roughly a year .. every now and then the car would choose when it wanted to start and when it wouldn't .. sometimes the car wouldn't start and then I would sit there for 10 minutes and it would and wouldn't have an issue for roughly a week .. today it pee'd the bed and did this for 45 minutes and then started .. so I figured it would be alright to shut it off one last time to get food and sure enough it won't start .. lucky my friend has a flatbed .. where should I go from here ? Can resistors go bad or is it my vats module going bad ? Also to bypass completely you need a new chip burned if I remember right from reading on this page so if anyone knows anyone on here or a shop I need to fix this asap for work lmk thank you !
