I have a 92 Z28 305 automatic 237,000 miles, when i'm driving most of the times it happens after i've been driving not right as i start it up but it'll just stall like when i'm about to pull into a parking space it'll stall and start right back up, or if i'm in reverse and i change to drive and start to pull forward it will sometimes stall, also almost all the time when i come to a complete stop like at a stop sign and accelerate it sounds like the rpm drops and is about to stall but then catches itself and goes back up, i checked my tranny n oil level both are good.

 

What's your fuel level at when it happens?

 

ive been having the same problem, car dies when coming to a stop, i have to put it in neutral and keep the rpms so it wont die, idk if my pumps goin bad, or if my fuel filter may be plugged up or if my idle is wrong, or possibly my timing is off

 

I've been driving on a bad fuel pump for a year now, so I found that if I always have the tank filled above half way, it eliminates the stall problem.
