What Flex-Plate?
I have a 1990 IROC 350, pulled the stock motor out and replaced it with a 1992 motor from a truck which was rebuilt. I tried using the Flex-Plate from the 1990 but it will not bolt up due to the bolt holes not matching up. Anyone know what kind of flywheel I need? See pic

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: What Flywheel?
Keep turning the flex plate (not a flywheel) until the bolt holes line up. Only goes one way.

Re: What Flywheel?
You are missing the dowel in the crank flange that makes the plate fit on in the ( only ) correct position
Observe the smaller hole betwen the two bolt holes shown at 2 o'clock in your pic and match that to the same hole in the crank flange where the alignment dowel should be

Thanks for the feedback, was doing all this in a rush yesterday, but got it figured out.
