Ac removal

I did a search and couldnt find a thread for just removing the ac. So I want to know what to do I already have the pump off the belt and unbolted just want to know the rest. From other threads people are talking about changing stuff to still have heaters and... I dont care if I have my heater to much but do like being able to have some sort of air movement sometimes.

Is usual to fit the " a/c delete" box from a car that came without factory air. This allows you to retain a blower motor for air circulation
see

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...-82-92-ac.html

Other than that you just remove everything that is part of the A/c system

Re: Ac removal

Don't forget the AC Delete pulley, without it you won't get far as the belt tensioner requires the belt to be routed from that factory position.

If you have an older V-belt car, just take that belt off.

Everything from the A/c system.
Follow the lines from the pump to the condenser and the evaporator

There is no tank
The system is full of refrigerant which you are supposed to get removed before opening the lines up
